Eknath Khadse's Courtesy Call to Amit Shah Sparks Speculation

In a significant yet brief interaction, former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Eknath Khadse met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Friday.

He was accompanied by his daughter-in-law, Raksha Khadse, who was recently appointed as the Union Minister of State for Sports. The veteran NCP leader described the meeting as a courtesy call to express gratitude for Raksha's new role, firmly stating that no political discussions took place during the five-minute encounter.

Eknath Khadse, a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics who left the BJP after over four decades to join the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in 2020, has yet to rejoin the saffron party formally, despite announcements earlier this year.
