Mamata Banerjee to Meet Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar in Mumbai

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will meet Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP leader Sharad Pawar in Mumbai to discuss the political situation. Her visit coincides with Mukesh Ambani's son's wedding. Banerjee will also meet Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, as part of her trip.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced her plans to meet Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP leader Sharad Pawar during her trip to Mumbai on Friday. The political discussions are expected to address the current political situation in the nation.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Banerjee confirmed her visit to Mumbai to attend Mukesh Ambani's son's wedding. She emphasized the repeated invitations she received from the Ambani family and her past interactions with them at the Biswa Bangla convention.

Banerjee also mentioned plans to meet Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Meanwhile, the BJP's West Bengal unit criticized her meetings with opposition leaders as futile, citing previous unsuccessful attempts to challenge the ruling NDA.
