Sanjay Singh Accuses BJP of Endangering Kejriwal's Health

AAP leader Sanjay Singh accused BJP of compromising Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's health while he's in Tihar jail. Singh alleges a conspiracy amid Kejriwal's reported refusal of insulin and low-calorie intake despite prescribed medical diet availability. The matter has sparked political contention with concerns raised by Lt Governor VK Saxena.

Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Sunday accused the BJP of compromising Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's health while he is detained in Tihar jail.

At a press conference, Singh highlighted that Kejriwal’s medical reports indicate severe health risks. Singh emphasized, “The BJP is jeopardizing Kejriwal's health. Initially, they claimed he was consuming sweets to spike his sugar levels; now they assert he's reducing his food intake. Why would anyone endanger their own life? This is a conspiracy to kill Kejriwal.”

On Saturday, the AAP criticized Lt Governor VK Saxena for allegedly suggesting Kejriwal was intentionally making himself ill. Saxena's communication from his office expressed concern over Kejriwal’s non-compliance with his prescribed medical diet and medicines. The communication cited a report from the Tihar Jail Superintendent highlighting multiple instances of Kejriwal's refusal to consume sufficient food and insulin doses.
