Republican presidential candidate and former US president Donald Trump announced plans to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida on Thursday.

Netanyahu, who is currently in Washington, will address a joint session of the US Congress on Wednesday and meet with President Joe Biden at the White House on Thursday. This will be Netanyahu's fourth address to the US Congress. In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his anticipation for the meeting, stating, 'Looking forward to welcoming Bibi Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday.'

This will be Trump's first in-person meeting with a foreign head of state since becoming the Republican presidential nominee on July 18. He had a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on July 19. Trump highlighted the achievements of his first term, including the signing of the historic Abraham Accords, and reiterated his 'PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH' agenda aimed at ending violent conflicts around the world.
