Global leaders are reacting strongly to the Venezuelan electoral authority's announcement that President Nicolas Maduro has secured a third term in office. This declaration, made just after midnight on Monday, has sparked widespread controversy due to exit polls that indicated an opposition win.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed serious concerns, stating that the results do not seem to reflect the will of the Venezuelan people. Chilean President Gabriel Boric echoed these sentiments, demanding total transparency and refusing to recognize unverifiable results.

Similarly, Peruvian Foreign Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea condemned the election for alleged irregularities and fraud. On the contrary, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Honduran President Xiomara Castro congratulated Maduro, celebrating the victory as a triumph of the Venezuelan people. Responses from other global leaders remain mixed, highlighting the polarized international stance on Venezuela's political situation.
