Newly Appointed Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde Arrives for Oath Ceremony

Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, the newly appointed Governor of Rajasthan, arrived in Jaipur on Tuesday ahead of his oath ceremony. Welcomed by top state officials, Bagde received a guard of honour at the airport. He is set to take his oath at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday, administered by Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava.

On Tuesday afternoon, Rajasthan's newly nominated Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde arrived in Jaipur for his upcoming oath ceremony the next day, the Raj Bhavan reported.

Upon his arrival in a state aircraft, Bagde was received at the airport by Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

The reception committee included Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, other state ministers, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, and Director General of Police U R Sahoo, among other senior administrative and police officers.

At the airport, the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) battalion presented a guard of honour to Bagde, who took the salute and inspected the troops.

Later, Bagde was welcomed at the Raj Bhavan with another guard of honour and received a bouquet of flowers from his secretary Gaurav Goyal.

He also participated in a prayer ceremony at the Raj Rajeshwar temple situated on the Raj Bhavan premises, praying for everyone's well-being.

Bagde then met the outgoing Governor, Kalraj Mishra, to mark the formal transition of office.

As per the Raj Bhavan statement, Bagde will formally take his oath as the Governor of Rajasthan on Wednesday at 4 pm, with the oath being administered by Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava.
