NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule addressed allegations concerning Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's supposed trips to Delhi disguised to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Sule clarified that she never accused Pawar of such acts and stressed her commitment to constructive politics and policy-making.
Ajit Pawar, in response, vehemently denied the reports. He declared his faith in 'open politics' and promised to quit politics if the allegations were proven true. Pawar criticized his opponents for propagating false narratives to undermine the Mahayuti government's effective schemes in Maharashtra.
Media outlets reported that Pawar claimed he traveled to Delhi disguised with a mask and cap to discuss alliances between NCP and BJP. However, Pawar refuted these claims, insisting he had no reason to travel covertly. Sule's surprise at these claims and her related actions in the Lok Sabha highlighted the ongoing political tensions.
