He stated that BJP's North Chennai-West District President Kabilan was arrested for his speech at a public meeting. Annamalai took to social media platform X to condemn what he called the DMK's 'fascist tendency.'
Annamalai accused the DMK of orchestrating a deteriorating law-and-order situation in Tamil Nadu, citing daily crimes and murders. He further criticized Chief Minister M K Stalin's administration as inept and tyrannical, suggesting that repressive measures cannot hide the DMK’s administrative failures.
