Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday emphasized that the focus of politics should be on development rather than appeasement or monetary benefits. Khandu made these remarks during a meeting with the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at his office.

'I was delighted to meet the dynamic Yuva Karyakartas of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Arunachal unit, led by President Shri Ritemso Manyu Ji,' Khandu posted on X. He stressed on shifting focus to meaningful progress and growth instead of short-term gains, remarking that people often overlook the development performance of the government.

Khandu highlighted the BJYM's critical role in making development-driven politics a reality, propelling the nation towards a brighter future. He also called for proper training and support for the party's youth cadres to prepare them for future political roles and empower them to make a positive impact in society. 'Our goal is to ensure that every young person has the support and resources they need to excel and make a significant impact,' he added.
