On Wednesday, Nobel laureate and interim Bangladeshi government head Muhammad Yunus voiced his eagerness to return home and help steer the country through its current political difficulties. Recent protests have compelled the Prime Minister to step down, creating a crisis that Yunus aims to address.

Speaking to reporters at Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport before his flight to Dhaka, Yunus said, "I'm looking forward to going back home and see what's happening and how we can organise ourselves to get out of the trouble that we're in."

As he prepares to return, Yunus envisions playing a crucial role in organizing and stabilizing Bangladesh's future amidst the ongoing unrest.
