After spending 17 months in Tihar Jail related to the excise policy case, Sisodia walked out and headed to visit Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence before meeting his family. Preparations were in full swing as party workers decorated Sisodia's residence with garlands and balloons. Party figures, including Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai, joined in welcoming Sisodia, while his family distributed sweets to visitors.
The mood was similarly jubilant at AAP headquarters on DDU Marg, where leaders like Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and other party members gathered to celebrate Sisodia's release, distributing sweets to supporters.
