Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday accused the BJP of manipulating the electoral process. Addressing party workers, he urged them to remain vigilant ahead of the upcoming by-elections and the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.
In a statement, Yadav alleged that the BJP believes it has the right to undermine democratic systems and influence elections. He stressed the importance of caution against what he termed as the BJP's conspiracies.
Yadav highlighted the SP's previous victories against the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, noting that the party and its allies secured 43 out of 80 seats. He emphasized the need for a voter awareness campaign to prevent any potential manipulations in voter lists as by-elections for 10 assembly seats approach later this year.
