Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid a visit to the Mahakaleshwar Temple and met with his Madhya Pradesh counterpart, Mohan Yadav, on Monday. Sai's visit was timed to coincide with the last day of the sacred month of Shravan and Raksha Bandhan.

Accompanied by his wife, Sai offered prayers at one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. He later met with Yadav at the circuit house, where their meeting lasted for 20 minutes. Sai stated that he prayed for the peace and prosperity of Chhattisgarh.

During the visit, Sai addressed concerns raised by reporters about women from Chhattisgarh trapped amid the unrest in Bangladesh. He assured that his government is dedicated to providing all necessary support, emphasizing their commitment to helping anyone from Chhattisgarh in distress.
