BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday slammed the National Conference's manifesto as a 'bundle of lies' and ridiculed NC Vice President Omar Abdullah's pledges to reinstate Article 370, 35-A, and statehood, comparing them to 'Mungeri Lal ke Haseen Sapne' (unrealistic dreams).
In remarks to ANI, Chugh asserted, 'This manifesto is a collection of untruths. From its highlights, it seems that the National Conference packaged lies and presented them.'
'Reinstating Article 370, 35-A, and statehood is an expired injection. The Abdullah family is living in a dreamland,' Chugh added. He emphasized that the BJP will not allow the constitution established by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar to be undermined in Jammu and Kashmir. 'We will safeguard the rights and reservations of SC and ST women. As long as there is a single BJP member, we will prevent the union territory from being chained,' he declared.
