Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is overseeing the BJP's campaign for the Jharkhand assembly polls, announced on Sunday that people are increasingly aligning with his party to save the 'ruined' tribal-dominated state.
Speaking to PTI, Chouhan criticized the Hemant Soren-led coalition government, alleging widespread anarchy and corruption. 'Mountains of currency notes are being unearthed in raids conducted by probe agencies from politicians and bureaucrats, and the land of tribals is being usurped by intruders,' he claimed.
Chouhan highlighted that the current election is pivotal for the future of Jharkhand, noting that former Chief Minister Champai Soren and ex-JMM legislator Lobin Hembrom have joined the BJP. 'We are unitedly doing a good job in Jharkhand,' he stated.
