The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government on Monday inducted five MLAs as ministers in its fourth Cabinet reshuffle, marking a significant change in the state's political landscape.

Governor Gulab Chand Kataria administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers at the Raj Bhavan, with Chief Minister Mann and other party leaders in attendance. Sworn in were Hardeep Singh Mundian, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Dr. Ravjot Singh, and Mohinder Bhagat.

This reshuffle comes after four ministers were removed from the Cabinet, heightening the intrigue in Punjab’s governance just days after AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal's release from jail. The changes bring the Cabinet’s strength to 16, close to the legal maximum of 18.
