Kalpana Soren Accuses BJP of Election Conspiracy in Jharkhand

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA Kalpana Soren has charged the BJP with orchestrating a 'conspiracy' by scheduling early assembly elections in the state. Speaking in Giridih, she decried the cut in election phases from five to two as a manipulative tactic.

Kalpana, the wife of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, expressed concerns over disparate polling hours between rural and urban sectors, highlighting adverse effects on the rural populace, particularly laborers and women, who typically back her husband.

Challenging the BJP's influence on electoral agencies, she warned of Jharkhand's resolute answer in the 2024 assembly elections, accusing the party of previous attempts to discredit Hemant Soren's governance.
