Outgoing Delhi chief minister Atishi has raised concerns over escalating power outages in the capital mere days after AAP's loss. According to Atishi, the outages are a direct consequence of the BJP's return to power.

During a press conference, Atishi outlined how, in just three days after AAP's defeat, Delhi experienced over 40 power cuts across various areas, prompting residents to purchase inverters.

The senior AAP leader accused the BJP of poor governance, suggesting that Delhi could face similar power disruptions as seen in Uttar Pradesh, a state known for its frequent outages. The BJP, victorious in February's election, has not yet established a government in Delhi.
