In a significant political gathering, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray met with Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, in Delhi. Thackeray highlighted that, irrespective of changing governments, political bonds between leaders like themselves will endure. Accompanied by Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs Arvind Sawant and Priyanka Chaturvedi, along with AAP MP Sanjay Singh, discussions took center stage around maintaining democratic principles.
Thackeray openly urged opposition factions to close ranks and confront challenges such as voter list discrepancies and diminishing electoral integrity. He emphasized that, although governments are transient, his alliance with Kejriwal remains robust. Pointing towards the significant involvement of the Election Commission, he stressed the need for a strategic response from the INDIA Bloc and opposition parties to counter present threats to fair elections.
Echoing these sentiments, AAP's Sanjay Singh declared gratitude for the meeting and reiterated Thackeray's assurance of unwavering ties.
