On Friday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly suppressing businessman Gautam Adani's corruption cases.

Using social media platform X, Gandhi suggested that Modi avoids discussing the matter both domestically by remaining silent, and internationally by dismissing it as personal.

Critics within the Congress have echoed Gandhi's sentiments, questioning when corruption became a private affair and noting ongoing international investigations against Adani. During a media briefing with Donald Trump, Modi maintained that such issues aren't discussed at leadership meetings.
