Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attributed the BJP's victory in the Kedarnath by-poll to a subsequent surge in electoral wins across key states like Haryana and Maharashtra. These achievements were discussed as Dhami, alongside Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.), unveiled a coffee table book showcasing the Kedarnath region's development, a project by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA). They also inaugurated the USDMA dashboard on Tuesday.

Reflecting on the period post-2014, CM Dhami praised the developmental strides in Kedarnath Dham and the Kedar Valley under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance. Dhami believed the by-poll would redefine national politics, paralleling its influence to the earlier Faizabad Lok Sabha results associated with Ayodhya. The ripple effect of Kedarnath's outcomes reportedly initiated political shifts first in Haryana and Maharashtra, followed by Uttarakhand, culminating in what Dhami described as a 'triple engine government'.

Meanwhile, in anticipation of Prime Minister Modi's proposed visit to Harsil, CM Dhami reviewed the readiness of the area, acknowledging the natural beauty of Harshil and commending Gangotri's MLA, Suresh Singh Chauhan. The visit, aimed at enhancing winter tourism, involves meticulous preparation by an array of officials, ensuring readiness from Harshil to Mukhwa, as confirmed in a recent release.
