Congress leader Digvijaya Singh recently disclosed that he was advised against voicing criticism of the RSS during his campaign tour in Gujarat. The caution was aimed at preventing any adverse reaction among Hindu voters, he stated.
Singh's comments were in response to Rahul Gandhi's speech in Ahmedabad, where the latter highlighted the urgent need for the Congress party to differentiate between loyal members and those who have shown alignment with the ruling BJP.
Gandhi emphasized stringent actions, including potential expulsions, to ensure party integrity. Singh commended this bold stance, asserting the Sangh Parivar misuses religion for political gains, distancing itself from true Hindu teachings established by Shankaracharya traditions.
