Uttar Pradesh Sets Plans for New Medical College in Ballia Amid Development Push

In a major announcement on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak revealed that a new medical college is set to be constructed in the Ballia district. The decision by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responds to a persistent demand from both the residents and Ballia's MLA, Dayashankar Pandey, who also serves as the state's Transport Minister.
Pathak explained that the proposal is progressing with land acquisition underway, noting the significance of the development for local healthcare. He further emphasized medical readiness for the upcoming festive season, stating that hospitals are instructed to remain vigilant and prepared for emergencies, with all leaves canceled to ensure smooth operations.
Reaffirming the state's commitment to development and order, Pathak highlighted the recent cabinet meeting's focus on progression while maintaining law and order. The cabinet has reportedly made over 15 key decisions, including those concerning infrastructure improvements in Noida and the much-anticipated Ballia Medical College.
