Telangana's Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, declared support for the DMK's opposition to the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. He expressed intentions to join an upcoming Chennai meeting on the issue, pending approval from the Congress high command.

This announcement followed a meeting with a DMK delegation led by Tamil Nadu Minister TK Nehru, who invited Reddy. "I welcome Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's stand," stated Reddy. Stalin has been rallying support against the delimitation exercise, writing to chief ministers across seven states to form a united front.

Reddy criticized the BJP-led NDA government, accusing it of political vendetta, targeting southern states under the guise of delimitation. Despite Union Home Minister Amit Shah's assurance that southern states wouldn't lose seats, Reddy argued that these states significantly contribute taxes and resources to the nation.
