Palestinian Ambassador Advocates Neutrality Amid Conflict

Amid questioning over a Hamas representative's attendance at a rally in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Abdullah M Abu Shawesh, the Palestinian Ambassador to India, emphasized Palestine's stance of non-interference in other nations' conflicts. He lauded India's attempts to halt ongoing violence in Gaza, describing it as a "slaughtering campaign."

Shawesh noted his recent communication with India's foreign ministry regarding escalations in Gaza, highlighting a continued dialogue to foster understanding. He reiterated Palestinian neutrality, as championed by President Mahmoud Abbas, in global disputes.

The ambassador commended India's efforts and strong bilateral ties with Israel and Palestine, acknowledging its potential role in brokering peace.
