Highlighting the demographic imbalance, he reported discovering a ratio of seven male deaths to one female death, urging action starting within communities.

The CM pointed to spurious liquor and drug abuse as major factors, and criticized past unproductive projects, prompting his administration to form a State Project Monitoring Committee for effective oversight.
