Political Fallout: Mulayam Singh Yadav's Bungalow Eviction Sparks Controversy

The district administration in Moradabad has revoked the government bungalow allotment to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. Officials have mandated the Samajwadi Party (SP) to vacate the premises within 30 days.

Situated in the affluent Civil Lines area, the bungalow, spread over nearly 1,000 square meters of Nazul land, has served as the local SP office for 31 years. The district magistrate cited the need for the property's use for government officers as the reason for the eviction.

State authorities have argued that the prolonged occupancy by a political entity is unjustified. The SP plans to contest this notice in court, according to leader Jaiveer Singh Yadav.
