Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra': A Rally for Democracy in Bihar

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is launching the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar, emphasizing the 'one person, one vote' principle. This 16-day journey, ending with a rally in Patna, aims to challenge alleged voter disenfranchisement and the influence of the BJP's 'double engine' governance approach.

Rahul Gandhi, a prominent Congress leader, is set to begin the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar on Sunday. This initiative aims to reinforce the 'one person, one vote' democratic principle as the Assembly elections approach.

Gandhi will be accompanied by RJD's Tejashwi Yadav and other Mahagathbandhan leaders for this 1,300 km-long journey from Sasaram. The campaign will culminate in a significant rally in Patna on September 1.

The Congress has raised concerns about voter disenfranchisement and alleged irregularities in the electoral roll revision. The party has called upon Biharis to support the movement, which they claim is aimed at safeguarding democratic rights and addressing alleged vote manipulations.
