In a recent statement, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism that Russian President Vladimir Putin might soon take steps to end the ongoing war in Ukraine. Speaking on Fox News, Trump shared his belief that Putin, along with others involved, is weary of the conflict.
Trump acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding Putin's intentions, stating, "We're going to find out about President Putin in the next couple of weeks... It's possible that he doesn't want to make a deal." Despite this, the U.S. President remained hopeful about a peaceful resolution.
Highlighting the challenges faced by Putin, Trump noted, "I think Putin is tired of it. I think they're all tired of it." However, he conceded that the situation remained complex and unpredictable.
