West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed immense relief on Wednesday after President Droupadi Murmu narrowly escaped a significant accident during her visit to Kerala earlier that day.

The incident occurred when the wheels of the helicopter carrying President Murmu became lodged in a depression at the newly constructed helipad in Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Pramadam.

Highlighting their concern, political figures from various parties quickly rallied to send their well-wishes for the President's safety and long life, a sentiment echoed by Banerjee on social media.
