Amidst speculation over Karnataka's potential leadership change, BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition R Ashoka alleged discord between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy, DK Shivakumar. Ashoka, speaking to ANI, highlighted the lack of coordination and development in the state, likening the situation to a 'street fight.'
With the Congress High Command appearing indecisive, discussions of a leadership transition intensify. Concurrently, HD Kumaraswamy and BY Vijayendra are slated to attend a significant NDA meeting, anticipating a possible confidence vote during the next assembly session.
Efforts to resolve the crisis include a Saturday breakfast meeting between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, prior to Shivakumar's scheduled meeting with the Congress top brass in Delhi. Both leaders emphasize their commitment to follow the high command's forthcoming decision on leadership.
