The Jharkhand unit of the BJP unveiled a 22-page document on Saturday, called the 'Aarop Patra', accusing the JMM-led government of not delivering on its electoral promises. BJP state chief Babulal Marandi released the document a day after Chief Minister Hemant Soren completed one year in office.
The BJP claims that the government pledged to create a 1932 land records-based domicile policy, protect regional cultures, and provide 10 lakh jobs. They allege none of these promises have been met. Moreover, the government's ambitious 'Maiyan Samman Yojna' has been labeled a failure, with a significant reduction in beneficiaries.
Additionally, Marandi accused the state of falling victim to numerous scams under the JMM-led alliance. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), however, dismissed the BJP's 'Aarop Patra', stating that the government's achievements in its first year speak volumes and have garnered public support.
