Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, has leveled serious allegations against the state government concerning the recently held police recruitment exams on November 30. At a press conference, Adhikari expressed concerns about irregularities, particularly highlighting the lack of serial numbers on OMR sheets, making them susceptible to manipulation.
The BJP leader accused the authorities of withholding essential documents from candidates, such as carbon copies of the OMR sheets, which could lead to tampering. Adhikari stressed that this malpractice could result in genuine candidates being unfairly denied opportunities, calling for the dismissal of Mamata Banerjee's government to protect the interests of the unemployed youth.
Adhikari further mentioned issues in education, citing delays in admissions to state-owned engineering colleges, forcing talented students to leave West Bengal. He assured that BJP would offer legal support to examinees who wish to pursue public interest litigation against the alleged exam irregularities.
