In a significant political move, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has rallied support against the privatization of government medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh by collecting one crore signatures.
The signatures, gathered from 26 districts, will be presented to Governor S Abdul Nazeer on December 17 as a form of protest. Reddy accuses the NDA coalition government of attempting to privatize these institutions, undermining public health services.
The submission will see the signatures transported to Vijayawada, with YSRCP leaders accompanying Reddy to Raj Bhavan for the formal event.
