Addressing a gathering in Indranagar, Agartala, he stressed the importance of maintaining a transparent voter registry.

Roy Barman, alongside Congress booth-level agents, underscored the need for an accurate and ethical electoral process. He referenced past alleged discrepancies in states like Maharashtra, Bihar, and Haryana, and insisted that Tripura's electoral rolls must remain above reproach.
