In the upcoming winter session of the Jharkhand assembly, the BJP intends to spotlight several unaddressed issues plaguing the state, primarily focusing on the government's unfulfilled promises. During a recent meeting chaired by Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, the BJP emphasized the urgent need to address these concerns.
The BJP criticizes the administration for its failure to distribute scholarships to deserving students and the lack of initiation on paddy procurement, pushing farmers to sell at reduced rates to middlemen. The party highlights unkept promises, such as the procurement of paddy from farmers at Rs 3,200 per quintal, a pledge made last year that remains unfulfilled.
Further criticism is directed at the state government for failing to meet pre-election commitments, including those related to LPG cylinder prices, health coverage, and employment opportunities. The BJP also highlights the deterioration of law and order, coupled with rising corruption, as significant setbacks to the state's progress in recent years.
