He described the financial penalty as 'a nasty one' and expressed his confusion over the European regulators' justification.
Trump commented on the situation during a discussion with reporters, stating, 'Europe is going in some bad directions.' He indicated that he expected to receive a comprehensive report about the EU's fine later that day.
Despite the controversial decision, Trump mentioned that Musk had not reached out to him for intervention, but warned, 'Europe has to be very careful.'
