Prime Minister Narendra Modi has concluded a fruitful visit to Ethiopia, where the two nations elevated their relationship to a Strategic Partnership status. As he departed for the final leg of his journey in Oman, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali personally bid him farewell, reflecting the strengthened diplomatic bonds.

During his Ethiopian visit, PM Modi addressed the country's parliament, emphasizing the natural partnership between the two nations in regional peace and development. Several significant agreements were signed, covering areas from peacekeeping training to cultural exchanges. He was also bestowed with Ethiopia's top honor, the Great Honour Nishan of Ethiopia.

Upon arriving in Oman, Modi is expected to engage in discussions aimed at deepening the longstanding commercial and cultural relations between the two countries. This visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties, and will include dialogue on various sectors like trade, energy, and security, alongside an address to the Indian community.
