On Wednesday, Haryana Congress held a protest outside the BJP's state office in Panchkula, reacting to a Delhi court's refusal to take cognisance of the ED's money laundering charge against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case.
A large assembly of Congress MLAs, district presidents, senior leaders, and party workers marched from the Gymkhana Club to the BJP office, staging a sit-in demonstration. They, led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Rao Narender Singh, criticized the central government for allegedly utilizing agencies as tools for a 'political vendetta.'
In contrast, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia declared that the Congress was promoting a false narrative about the court's decision, emphasizing that the case remains pending and the ED's investigation is ongoing.
