Samik Bhattacharya, the Chief of West Bengal BJP, expressed serious concerns about the escalating influence of fundamentalist groups in Bangladesh, pointing out their control over recent events.

He reassured citizens that the Union government and the Ministry of External Affairs are managing the situation prudently and will ensure an apt response.

Highlighting the spread of radicalism akin to cancer in Bangladesh, Bhattacharya called for unity among like-minded individuals to combat the threat. His remarks come amidst tension in Bangladesh following the death of prominent opposition leader Sharif Osman Hadi that led to widespread unrest.
