Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, M K Stalin, revealed that seat-sharing discussions between the DMK and its coalition partners will soon be underway ahead of the state's Assembly elections. As president of the DMK, Stalin promised the formation of a committee dedicated to these talks.
Addressing the media at Kolathur, Stalin reiterated his disappointment with the Union Budget for 2026-27, describing it as a letdown and suggesting it fell short of expectations. He further emphasized that the electoral process would serve as a means for the public to express dissatisfaction with the BJP.
On the developmental front, Stalin inaugurated various facilities, including a blood purification unit costing Rs 11.74 crore. Additional establishments like a physiotherapy center and dialysis unit were also opened to benefit local residents. Simultaneously, Stalin launched six new ration shops and furthered recreational access by inaugurating a park, reflecting his commitment to community-centric growth.
