All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has launched a fierce criticism of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, daring him to identify any alleged failings during AIADMK's tenure. At a public rally, Palaniswami demanded that Stalin highlight any errors in their governance, asserting there were none.
Palaniswami accused Stalin of derogatorily labeling him as a 'BJP slave' and argued that the Chief Minister remains ignorant about several issues. 'Whenever you speak, you claim Edappadi Palaniswami is beholden to the BJP. He took office with merit. Beyond this, the puppet Chief Minister knows nothing,' he declared, pointedly insulting Stalin.
These remarks occur as political tension mounts between the ruling DMK and the opposition AIADMK ahead of the statewide elections. At a DMK functionary meeting in Tirupathur, Stalin highlighted the party's recent victories and exhorted members to proactively inform the public about government initiatives to secure victory in upcoming contests.
Stalin encouraged DMK workers to guarantee at least 50 votes each in order to win in 200 constituencies, underscoring the party's electoral strategy by promoting government achievement narratives through direct community engagement like door-to-door campaigning and discussions.
Reaffirming the government's commitment to welfare, Stalin cited the women's rights assistance scheme benefiting 1.35 crore women and pledged continued delivery of essential measures. This marks a crucial phase as DMK aims to reinforce its electoral strength in Tamil Nadu.
