Delegations from Russia and Ukraine arrived in Geneva for another round of US-brokered peace talks. As the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion looms, neither side appeared willing to make concessions on key matters, such as territorial disputes and security assurances, despite a looming US-imposed deadline.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed his delegation's presence, with Russian representatives also present. The discussions, lasting two days, were set to address Russian-occupied Ukrainian land. US President Donald Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, and son-in-law Jared Kushner are to join the dialogue.

Top military officials from the US, Russia, and Ukraine are expected to examine how to enforce a potential ceasefire. Moscow remains adamant Ukraine should surrender control of its eastern regions. US President Trump has referred to these negotiations as ''big talks,'' urging Ukraine to engage swiftly.
