BJP and Congress Unveil Candidates for Karnataka Legislative Council Election

In a strategic political move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has revealed its list of candidates for the biennial Karnataka Legislative Council election, despite the Election Commission of India not yet announcing the election dates.
From New Delhi, the BJP Central Election Committee confirmed Shashil G Namoshi for the North East Teachers' constituency, S V Sankanura for West Graduates, and K M Suresh for the South East Graduates.
Meanwhile, rival party Congress released its candidature list for four seats. Mohan Limbakai, Shashi Hullikuntemutt, Sharanappa Mattur, and Puttanna will represent Congress in their respective constituencies, setting the stage for a heated electoral contest.
