Despite the longstanding alliance, Kallas emphasized the perplexing nature of recent U.S. policies, indicating a need for the EU to adapt. "Of course, we are allies with America, but we don't really understand their moves recently," she mentioned.

"We are now more calm because we are expecting the unpredictable things to happen all the time," Kallas concluded.
