Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Bids for Dharmadom Again
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has officially filed his nomination from Dharmadom for the upcoming Assembly elections. This marks his seventh contest overall and third from Dharmadom. Opposing him are candidates from Congress-led UDF and BJP. Vijayan began his campaign with a roadshow in the constituency.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan officially entered the election race by filing his nomination from the Dharmadom Assembly constituency on Thursday.
The event, held at the Thalassery Sub Registrar Office, saw Vijayan, a seasoned CPI(M) leader, joined by senior party officials including district secretary K K Ragesh and Speaker A N Shamseer.
Vijayan is contesting for the seventh time in his political career and third time from Dharmadom. The UDF has fielded V P Abdul Rasheed, and BJP has opted for K Ranjith as opponents. Vijayan launched his campaign with a roadshow, signaling an intense race ahead.
