Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday asserted that Congress candidates are poised for a decisive victory in the upcoming Bagalkot and Davanagere South assembly bypolls, thanks to the state's strategic implementation of five guarantee schemes.
In Davanagere, CM Siddaramaiah rallied support for Congress candidate Samarth Mallikarjun, following two days of campaigning for Umesh Meti in Bagalkot. Dismissing BJP's claims about the state economy, Siddaramaiah described Karnataka's financial health as robust, highlighting its leading position in GST collection and investment attraction.
The Chief Minister criticized the BJP's negative political tactics and countered allegations of mismanaging finances. Emphasizing universal basic income principles, Siddaramaiah reaffirmed the government's commitment to fund development initiatives in Davanagere, ensuring continuous support for Congress policies.
