Nitin Nabin, the BJP's newly elected national president, took his oath of office as a Rajya Sabha MP on Thursday, along with 15 other members. This solemn ceremony was presided over by C P Radhakrishnan, Vice-President of India and Chairman of Rajya Sabha.
The newly sworn-in MPs represent a range of Indian states, including Bihar, Assam, and Haryana, among others. The composition includes eight members from the BJP and three from its allies, while Congress holds five seats.
This event marks an important transition for Nabin, who moves to the Upper House following his resignation from the Bihar legislative assembly.
