Abhishek Banerjee, the national general secretary of Trinamool Congress, declared on Saturday his party's ambition to reclaim authority in West Bengal by securing approximately 225 seats in the assembly.
At a rally in Bally, Banerjee also pledged to dislodge the BJP from its central position within two to three years, citing voter dissatisfaction over the ongoing electoral roll revision as a point of contention.
He criticized Prime Minister Modi's campaign tactics and refuted BJP's economic development claims, emphasizing TMC's commitment to social and cultural integrity in Bengal.
