Brazil's government is poised to unveil new strategies on Monday designed to address consumer indebtedness, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva declared on Thursday. These efforts are set to enhance the Novo Desenrola Brasil program, initially launched in 2023, aiming to alleviate financial burdens on Brazilian citizens.

In a national address, Lula highlighted that the new measures would make it easier for debt-ridden Brazilians to manage their financial obligations. Key features of the program include reduced interest rates, diminished monthly payment amounts, and protracted timelines for settling debts.
